Job summary

Adventure Theatre MTC in Maryland seeks a Part-Time Major Gifts Officer to initiate, build, and deepen donor relationships to grow major gifts of $1,000 and above. You will communicate the value of supporting theatre for children’s access and education.

Flexible up to 20 hours/week, including evenings and weekends with donors; 2–3 weekly meetings form part of the role. Reports to the Director of Development; stipend with potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Outgoing, energetic, self-starter.
• Experience in donor relations or fundraising preferred.
• Availability for evening and weekend events.
• Ability to communicate the impact of supporting youth theatre.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, build and deepen relationships with current and prospective donors.
• Grow major gifts ($1,000+) and increase gift value year over year.
• Participate in 2–3 weekly meetings and occasional donor events.
