Job summary

Countryside Senior Living of Athens is seeking a part-time maintenance technician to support daily facility operations in Athens, TX. You will perform routine repairs, inspections, and upkeep to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for residents.

Responsibilities include checking electrical and plumbing systems, installing appliances and equipment, garden upkeep, and assisting with renovations in coordination with the Administrator.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in maintenance for commercial/residential buildings.
• Thorough knowledge of building materials and tools and their use in maintenance and repair.
• Working knowledge of building structures and systems (e.g. steam and hot water boilers, electrical systems, air conditioning equipment, etc.).
• Valid Driver License

Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs and maintenance on facilities.
• Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues.
• Install appliances and equipment.
• Do garden/yard upkeep, collecting trash, etc.
• Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation).
• Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm).
• Collaborate with Administrator during renovations.
• Report to Administrator for issues.
• Weekly transportation.
