Position: Part-Time Maintenance Technician

  • Unit Count: 63
  • Hourly Pay Range: $20 - $22
  • On-Call Required: Yes
  • Bonus Eligible: Yes
  • Employee Type: Regular
  • Provided Housing: 2x2 units

About the Role: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining apartment homes, buildings, and grounds. Duties include repairs to flooring, drywall, appliances, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and cleaning. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and supports client expectations within budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Client Relations: Ensure property operations align with owner philosophies and client expectations.
  2. General Maintenance: Follow maintenance schedules, perform inspections, assist with safety and maintenance inspections, and serve as on-call emergency support.
  3. Unit Turnover: Conduct inspections and repairs on vacant units, coordinate painting, appliance replacement, and ensure timely turnover completion.
  4. Equipment & Systems: Maintain community equipment, keep storage areas organized, secure parts and supplies, and maintain inventory within budget.
  5. Other Duties: Enforce community rules, comply with Fair Housing laws, uphold professional appearance, and communicate professionally.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in residential property management or related fields.
  • High School diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred.
  • Ability to wear a respirator and be medically cleared for duty.
  • Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Own tools may be required.
