Burlington Capital Properties is a nationally recognized property management company seeking a skilled Part-Time Maintenance Technician. This position is based at North Shore Village, with responsibilities at Quail Run and Pants Factory as needed. We value individuals who take pride in their work and can provide friendly, quality service to our residents.

Position Details

• Part-time, 20-25 hours/week
• Availability Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with some on-call hours
• Days and hours may vary, determined during the interview process

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve homes for new residents, including touch-up painting, drywall, plumbing, flooring, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs
• Clean common areas and walkways; maintain property curb appeal through trash pickup, landscaping, and general upkeep
• Perform repairs on apartments, common areas, and grounds following established procedures
• Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding service requests and unit readiness
• Inspect work performed by outside contractors
• Ensure compliance with health and safety codes and standards
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of laundry facilities, fitness centers, and restrooms
• Participate in resident events as requested
• May be required to be on call

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• 1-2 years’ experience in maintenance or related field
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general trades
• HVAC certification preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Effective communication skills in English
• Positive interaction with residents, staff, vendors, and the public
