Burlington Capital Properties is seeking a dependable Part-Time Maintenance Technician to support our apartment communities in the Henderson, Kentucky area. You will perform interior and exterior repairs, conduct make-readies, and maintain safety and appearance across property grounds.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of maintenance experience, working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliance repair, plus a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of maintenance or related experience required.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.
• HVAC certification preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record required.

Responsabilités

• Perform interior and exterior repairs to apartments, common areas, buildings, and grounds
• Complete vacant apartments to make-ready status according to established procedures
• Communicate regularly with the supervisor regarding service requests, make-ready units, and maintenance needs
• Inspect work completed by outside contractors
• Inspect and maintain exterior areas to support property appearance and curb appeal
• Follow applicable federal, state, and local health and safety codes, laws, and standards
• Inspect laundry facilities, fitness centers, common area restrooms, and other shared spaces to ensure proper functioning and cleanliness
• Assist with trash pickup and general property upkeep
• Participate in resident functions as requested by management
• Participate in on-call coverage as directed by management
• Provide professional and responsive service to residents, employees, vendors, and the general public

PART-TIME MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Burlington Capital Properties is seeking a dependable, skilled Part-Time Maintenance Technician to support our apartment communities in the Henderson, Kentucky area. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys troubleshooting and completing repairs, and provides friendly, quality service to residents.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of maintenance or related experience and working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliance repair, and general building maintenance. HVAC certification is preferred but not required.

Schedule

Part-Time | 25–29 Hours Per Week | Monday-Friday | Some on-call hours may be required

The Successful Maintenance Technician Will:

• Perform interior and exterior repairs to apartments, common areas, buildings, and grounds

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of two years of maintenance or related experience required
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliance repair, and general building maintenance
• HVAC certification preferred, but not required
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record required
• Reliable transportation
• Basic tools required to perform apartment and building maintenance
• Ability to follow directives and work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand basic written and verbal instructions in English
• Ability to interact positively and professionally with residents, employees, vendors, and the general public
• Ability to work some on-call hours as needed

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders, reach, push, pull, and carry tools and materials
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
• Ability to perform maintenance tasks in apartments, buildings, common areas, and exterior property areas
