Job summary

Phillips Management Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our properties safe, attractive, and well‑maintained. You will support the property management team and gain hands‑on experience across trades.

Responsibilities include prepping apartments, completing work orders, routine maintenance, on‑call rotation, and maintaining systems from plumbing to carpentry. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on, problem-solving mindset emphasized in description.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • 1–3 months of related experience preferred but not required.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
  • Your own set of tools and basic certifications (HVAC, CFC, or CPO) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare apartments for new residents (turns & move-outs).
  • Complete work orders efficiently and professionally.
  • Keep exterior areas clean and well-presented (curb appeal).
  • Conduct routine and preventive maintenance.
  • Daily trash pickup and grounds upkeep.
  • Maintain trash compactors and swimming pools (in season).
  • Troubleshoot and repair: Plumbing, Basic electrical, Appliances, Carpentry & drywall, Roofing & flooring.
  • Check irrigation systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of work and materials used.
  • Participate in the on-call maintenance rotation.

What You’ll Do
