Brighton Post Acute Care is seeking a Maintenance Assistant on a part-time schedule (Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays) with required on-call rotation. The role involves completing daily rounds, performing minor repairs, and supporting a safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1+ year of general maintenance experience; skilled nursing facility exposure is a plus. Benefits and a supportive team culture are emphasized.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of general maintenance experience.
• Experience in painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC or related trades.
• Basic safety procedures and maintenance best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Perform daily rounds to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Carry out minor plumbing, electrical, mechanical and cosmetic repairs.
• Review logs and complete work orders accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with staff to improve resident living spaces and facility environment.
• Assist with furniture moves, equipment repairs and maintenance projects.
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve them to ensure resident safety and comfort.
• Ensure work complies with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
