Job description

Keeping our hotel running smoothly is vital to our guests' experience – as a Maintenance Representative, you’ll keep everything looking sharp and running like clockwork. From simple repairs to forward-thinking for the next day, with naturally high standards to support our own, you’ll approach every task with devotion and pride.

  1. Repair or replace items around the hotel and refurbish items in guest rooms.
  2. Organize supplies and ensure equipment is ready for the next day.
  3. Live up to high safety standards – follow guidelines and report any incidents, dangerous conditions, or unsafe equipment to your supervisor.
  4. Take responsibility for the safety and cleanliness of areas inside and outside the hotel, such as the car park and pool.
  5. Follow the preventative maintenance calendar to keep everything working efficiently and look for improvements.
  6. Be a friendly face and helpful to our guests.
  7. Keep your supervisor or duty manager informed about low supplies and any issues.
  8. Maintain a professional appearance in your uniform.
  9. Be prepared to take on additional duties as needed.
What We Need from You

Our hotel operates 24/7 to meet guest needs. While shifts will be assigned, there may be a requirement to work varying shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.

  1. At least one year of maintenance or repair experience.
  2. A high school diploma or related vocational training.
  3. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, building management programs, and reporting tools like HotSos, Opera, Lutron, Bartech, or Inncom.
  4. Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrics, and preventative maintenance procedures, along with building equipment and hand tools.
  5. If applicable, a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license is preferred.
  6. Physical fitness to stand, bend, and kneel throughout the day.
  7. Compliance with local laws regarding food handling and alcohol service, and fluency in the local language.
  8. Excellent communication skills, a warm and welcoming demeanor.

The salary range for this role in certain states is $16.50 to $19.07 per hour. Compensation may vary based on location and other factors. Benefits include paid time off, medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), and more. Please note that all compensation is subject to applicable laws and company discretion.
