Job summary

Kids First Preschool and Child Care Center #2 in Tucson, AZ is seeking a reliable Part-Time Maintenance team member to help keep our facility safe, clean, and welcoming for the children and families we serve.

You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep, monitor HVAC and lighting, maintain grounds, and ensure classrooms and restrooms are well-maintained, supporting a positive, child-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, janitorial, or facilities experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Must pass a background check in compliance with childcare regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Friendly, professional demeanor suitable for a child-centered environment.

• Maintain grounds, including landscaping, trash removal, and exterior upkeep.
