St. John Paul II Catholic Church & Academy is seeking a dependable, self-motivated Part-Time Maintenance Person to help care for our rectory, church and school facilities.

This flexible, as-needed position is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of maintenance tasks and takes pride in keeping buildings and grounds safe, clean, and well-maintained.

Qualifications

• General maintenance and repair experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work indoors and outdoors.
• Dependable and trustworthy.
• Willingness to support the mission and values of a Catholic parish and school.

Responsibilities

• Performing general building repairs and routine maintenance.
• Assisting with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting projects.
• Maintaining church and school grounds, including seasonal outdoor work.
• Setting up and taking down tables, chairs, and equipment for parish and school events.
• Identifying maintenance needs and helping ensure a safe environment for parishioners, students, staff, and visitors.
• Other maintenance duties as assigned.
