Description

Job Summary

If you take pride in cleanliness, organization, and safety, then you may be a fit for QSAC’s Maintenance team! The Office Maintenance/Custodian is responsible for upholding the safety and appearance of the physical office space.

The salary for this position is $16.50 - $18.00 an hour.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Building Maintenance
  • Adhere to building/maintenance codes to ensure health, safety & welfare of facilities, individuals, and employees.
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout facilities, completing assigned checklists that include daily, weekly, and monthly detail.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and use responsibly.
  • Demonstrate safety and care of equipment and supplies to protect from damage and theft.
  • Driving to multiple QSAC locations is required.
  • Complete projects including moving furniture, deliveries, painting, plastering, etc. in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, cleaning bathrooms/kitchen, mopping, sweeping, and/or vacuuming floors, hygienic cleaning, and garbage collection and removal.
  • Utilize troubleshooting skills to determine the best way to fix problems and communicate delays or emergency reassignments to supervisor.
  • Respond promptly to program needs throughout the facility.
  • Identify problems in the facility and inform supervisor as soon as they are discovered.
  • Work independently in the building, staying focused on assigned tasks and priorities.
  • Prioritize work to complete time-sensitive issues first.
  • Report to work for snow removal as needed.

This position may require driving to other QSAC locations.

Qualifications & Work Experience
  • High school diploma/GED, preferred.
  • Must have 1-2 years of general maintenance and facility cleaning skills.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and excellent driving history.
  • Required travel to multiple QSAC locations.
  • Requires the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with others [English is required].
  • Attendance and punctuality are essential.
  • Commitment to company values and adherence to policies.
