Job summary

Lansdale Borough is seeking a full-time custodian/maintenance worker to support custodial needs for Borough properties. The role involves cleaning, disinfecting, and basic maintenance tasks under the supervision of the Facilities Manager.

The position requires adherence to safe working practices and the ability to perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance duties as part of a team responsible for Borough facilities.

Responsibilities

• Observe safe working conditions
• Mop and/or vacuum floors and carpets
• Sweep / mop stairways and landing
• Fill dispensers (towel and soap)
• Empty waste cands
• Disinfect and wipe table tops, doorjambs, door hardware
• Dust windowsills, counter tops, ceiling and art
• clean and dust light fixtures
• Replace lightbulbs as needed
• Perform minor maintenance duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager
• Perform other duties as assigned
