Job summary

San Jacinto is seeking part-time faculty to teach Vocational Nursing at the North campus. Instructors will deliver nursing coursework and may teach evening or weekend classes as needed, with on-site responsibilities as required by the course.

Employment is on an as-needed basis, with no guarantee of regular full-time employment; salary is based on the current board-approved schedule and applicable AH grade. Applications reviewed as openings arise.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
• At least three (3) years direct or related work experience in nursing required exclusive of teaching.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teaching Vocational Nursing related course work.
• Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees.
• Part-time faculty are hired on an as-needed basis and may include evening or weekend classes; assignments may require on-site presence.
