Job summary

Linwood Meadows Care Center is seeking a Part-Time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise CNAs. The LVN will ensure care aligns with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies under supervision from Nursing leadership.

The role requires a California LVN license, CPR certification, and prior skilled nursing facility experience is preferred. This position offers part-time hours with pay range stated per hour.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved LVN program.
• Current, active, and unencumbered LVN license in the State of California.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders and resident care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to physicians/family.
• Perform wound care, catheterization, tube feedings and other skilled procedures.
• Record vital signs and document resident status accurately.
• Participate in admissions, transfers, and discharges.
