Job summary

Workstream is seeking a part-time NOC shift nurse for their premier nursing facility in Lodi, California. The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will oversee patients' care while ensuring comfort and safety, reporting on conditions, administering medications as necessary, and maintaining accurate records.

Candidates must be currently registered with the State Board of Nursing and have a minimum of 2 years of long-term care experience. Additional benefits include competitive pay and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Currently registered and licensed in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• 2+ years' experience in long-term care preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certified.
• Outstanding communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Observes, reports and documents/charting on patient conditions.
• Administers medications in accordance with physician orders.
• Takes and records temperatures, respiration and pulse.
• Sets up treatment trays, prepares instruments and/or other equipment.
• Maintains working knowledge of assigned patients' conditions.
• Responsible for notifying Director of Nursing Services of changes in patient condition.
