Job summary

Stoney Point Healthcare Center in California is seeking a Part Time LVN to oversee nursing services, supervise nursing assistants, and ensure compliance with regulations.

You will direct day‑to‑day nursing operations, participate in quality assurance, manage documentation, and coordinate with physicians and other departments. Requires a Nursing Degree and an active LPN/LVN license in California, CPR certification preferred, strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must possess, at minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state (California).
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Demonstrates leadership and supervisory ability and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day to day functions of the nursing staff in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with written policies and procedures established by the facility.
• Oversee nursing services to maintain the resident's total regimen of care.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and surveys.
• Coordinate with physicians and other departments to plan resident care.
