Job summary

Brazosport College seeks an adjunct instructor for Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) to teach classes using traditional and alternative delivery methods. This part-time role supports the LVN department and is hired on an as-needed basis before or during each semester.

The position requires an Associate’s Degree in Nursing and at least three years of nursing experience, with strong communication skills and a commitment to diverse student populations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Minimum of three years of non-teaching wage earning experience in the nursing profession
• Interest in alternative instructional delivery methods
• Demonstrated ability in working with culturally diverse populations
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Other qualities, experiences, and skills that enhance one’s value to the institution
• Exceptional employment or educational qualifications may be given special consideration as long as Southern Association (SACS) minimum educational credentials are met
