Job summary

USD 489 is seeking a Lunch Supervisor for Hays Middle School to maintain a safe, orderly mealtime and playtime environment. Under supervision, you will help supervise students, assist with food service tasks, and support teachers and staff.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and effective communication skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. This part-time role offers daily hours from 11 AM to 1 PM and requires dependable attendance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in the cafeteria during mealtime.
• Ensure tables and surrounding areas are clean after meals.
• Supervise playground/classroom during lunch hour.
• Assist with food distribution, trash disposal and tray return.
• Keep students seated in assigned areas during meals.
• Move among tables to assist as needed and supervise dismissal.
