Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma preferred.
• Experience working with children.
• Friendly and patient with children.
• Positive leadership skills.
• Ability to work efficiently with staff, students and community.
• Excellent communication and ability to follow directions.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds occasionally.
• Good agility and mobility for playground and lunchroom duties.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in lunchroom, playground, and hallways.
• Assist in guiding students' social skills and habits.
• Maintain welfare and safety of students.
• Report accidents and hazards immediately.
• Resolve problems that arise and inform staff.
• Enforce school rules with consistent discipline.
• Inspect equipment safety and report concerns.
• Respond promptly to safety complaints by students.
