Greeley-Evans School District 6 is seeking a Lunch Monitor for James Madison STEAM Academy. This non-exempt, part-time role runs 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. during the 2026-2027 school year (182 days). Salary starts at $19.26 per hour with potential additional credit for internal transfers and rehires up to $30.86 per hour plus benefits.

Reports to the School Principal. Requires a high school diploma or GED. A comprehensive benefits package is available for benefit-eligible employees.

Mansioni

• Supervise students in the cafeteria during lunch periods in serving lines, while eating and during cafeteria dismissal.
• Supervise students outside the building on school grounds, including playground equipment, ensuring the safety of all students.
• Maintain discipline in the cafeteria according to school and district policies.
• Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of cafeteria.
• Assist students during lunch periods as needed.
• Maintain positive and professional communication with staff, students, parents and other community members.
• Knowledge of and adherence to school and district policies and procedures.
• Understand PBIS and apply school discipline procedures.
• Ability to sit for long periods, handle distractions, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
