JEM Treatment, Inc in Illinois is seeking an Illinois licensed LPN for an outpatient methadone clinic two to three days a week. Hours are early morning with occasional Saturdays.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. Responsibilities include dispensing methadone, administering TB tests, assisting with physical examinations, accurate charting and filing, ordering supplies, and patient education while working closely with the program's physician and staff.
An Illinois licensed LPN is required for two or possibly three days a week for an out-patient Methadone Clinic.
The two days will normally be Monday and Thursday unless one of those days falls on a holiday and then it will be the following day that you would be required to work. An occasional Saturday may be required.
Some of the duties include but not limited to dispensing methadone, administering TB tests, assisting with physical examinations, accurate charting, filing, ordering supplies, patient education and working closely with the program's physician and other staff.
Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
Must be able to pass a background check and a drug screening test as required by the law.
Prior knowledge of addiction treatment using methadone is a plus but will train.
Hours are Monday through Friday 5:15am to 1:15pm.
Saturdays 5:45am to 10:45am. An occasional Saturday may be required.
