Job summary

State of Georgia is seeking a Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse for GRHS in Savannah, GA. The role involves hourly shifts of 7:00am-7:30pm or 7:00pm-7:30am, with an average 29 hours weekly. LPN licensure in Georgia and preferred NLC are required; prior adult mental health care experience is a plus.

This is a part-time, non-benefit-eligible position. Candidates will undergo national and state background checks as a condition of employment.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the State of Georgia and/or Nurse Licensure Compact.
• Multi-State License to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Georgia.
• Experience working in an adult mental health care facility a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides general direct nursing care to injured, ill, convalescent or disabled individuals/patients.
• Adminsisters prescribed medications or injections and monitors responses.
• May supervise and/or direct the work of support staff and chart care.
• Records vital signs and tracks changes in condition for timely intervention.
• Works as part of a health care team to assess needs and modify care plans.
