Job summary

Homewood Living Williamsport is seeking a part-time LPN to oversee direct resident care and administer prescribed medications in a faith-based senior living community. The role emphasizes compassionate nursing service and adherence to state regulations.

The nurse will collaborate with the care team, maintain confidentiality, document care accurately, assist with admissions and discharges, and participate in care planning while responding quickly to emergencies and resident needs.

Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN license in the state providing nursing care.
• Judgment, initiative and dependability.
• Ability to read, write and understand English well.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 pounds during shift.
• Ability to react quickly in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the direct delivery of resident care and administers prescribed medications.
• Maintains confidentiality of resident and staff information.
• Administers medications and treatments per nursing techniques.
• Transcribes and carries out physician orders; assists with physician visits.
• Participates in resident care planning and evaluates residents' needs.
• Assists with admissions and discharges and supervises nursing assistants.
