Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
• Participates in the nursing process in planning, implementation and evaluation of care.
• Acts as a liaison between physician, patient and family and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team.
• Assists in the orientation process of new personnel.
• May participate in Health Center and department committees.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to age groups according to patient age, development, and psycho-social maturity.
