Job summary

TriHealth is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for an outpatient setting to support physicians and RNs in delivering compassionate patient care. The role emphasizes teamwork, accurate documentation, medication administration, and adherence to the Nurse Practice Act, contributing to high-quality primary and specialty care.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient and family needs and document care precisely and timely.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program.
• BLS certification.
• Licensed Practical Nurse license required; RN licensure acceptable.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• 1–2 years of related nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and safely administer medications per policy and physician orders.
• Perform nursing tasks per scope of practice and standards.
• Determine and maintain supply needs for the nursing department.
• Coordinate learning and adapt to organizational and unit changes.
• Coordinate monthly turnover for Medication Administration Records (MARS).
• Document patient observations and communicate findings to the health care team.
