Job summary

LPN Part Time (Healthcare) position in Perrysburg, Ohio. This role combines nursing expertise with leadership to guide staff, ensure quality resident care, and maintain a positive environment.

This role requires an active LPN license in Ohio, nursing program graduation, and CPR certification is preferred. You will lead nursing assistants, administer medications, monitor residents, complete charting, and participate in QA and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved LPN program.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily nursing assistant functions to ensure care plans are followed.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Monitor residents’ conditions, respond to changes, and communicate with physicians and families.
• Complete accurate charting, documentation, and care plan updates.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents, ensuring smooth transitions.
• Support and evaluate staff; assist in scheduling.
• Participate in quality assurance programs, safety inspections, and regulatory surveys.
• Maintain infection control, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Serve as a resource and leader during emergencies or unexpected events.
