Mercy Health in Fort Smith, AR is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time position to join a compassionate care team. You will provide direct patient care within the LPN scope, support admissions and discharge processes, and collaborate with RNs and the care team to plan and monitor care.

You will be responsible for patient and family education, reporting changes to the RN, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives while ensuring a safe, positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Current LPN license in the state of Arkansas (or eligibility to obtain).
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, patient assessments, and care planning.
• Communicate patient conditions and changes to the RN and care team.
• Support patient and family education.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to promote optimal patient outcomes.
• Delegate and guide support staff as appropriate.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit-based activities.

Formation

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program

Arkansas LPN license (or eligible to obtain)
