Job summary

Bloomingdale's is seeking a Receiving Support Associate for part-time work at South Coast Plaza to help manage merchandise receiving, packing, and order fulfillment. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and dependable performance in a busy retail environment.

You will assist with packing, processing receipts and returns, and support various store logistics initiatives while using store technology and equipment. A flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, is required.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
• Resourceful self-starter who works well independently as well as part of a team, and is able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greets and welcomes customers while on the selling floor.
• Supports and administers new receipt processing according to company standards.
• Searches and picks merchandise from selling floor and stock rooms for all fulfillment types.
• Learns and applies packing policies and techniques to ensure every customer receives their package in excellent condition.
• Participates in the completion of all logistical initiatives including RTVs, CDTs, price changes, damages/salvages, job outs, etc.
• Embraces and is proficient with technology.
• Supports the store during big‑day events.
