Job summary

Bloomingdale’s is hiring a Receiving Support Associate (Part Time) at our North Michigan location in Chicago. The role supports merchandise reception, packing for shipment, order fulfillment, and stock room activities to ensure accurate and timely delivery to customers.

The position requires a high school diploma, strong interpersonal skills, and flexibility to work retail hours including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate with diverse groups.
• Resourceful self-starter, works well independently and in a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greets and welcomes customers while on the selling floor.
• Support and administer new receipt processing according to company standards.
• Search and pick merchandise from selling floor and stock rooms for all fulfillment types.
• Learn and apply packing policies to ensure packages arrive in excellent condition.
• Participate in all logistical initiatives including RTVs, CDTs, price changes, damages/salvages, job outs.
• Embrace and be proficient with technology.
