Job summary

New Holland Brewing Company in Battle Creek, MI is seeking a part-time line cook to support our Back of House in a new, vibrant location. Starting pay is $17.02/hour with room for experience-based increases.

We value a collaborative, energized team dedicated to high-quality food and exceptional guest experiences. 1+ year in food service preferred; ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in back-of-house/food service.
• Familiarity with safe handling techniques and sanitation standards.
• Ability to adhere to kitchen policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and act in a manner consistent with Mission, Vision & Values.
• Stock and organize the line.
• Ensure safety and sanitation of food and workspace.
• Prepare products for service per specs.
• Follow kitchen conduct policies and procedures.
• Maintain cooler organization and proper temperature control.
• Keep all kitchen areas clean and sanitary.
• Work with urgency during service.
• Participate in weekly cleaning projects.
• Seek to grow knowledge and skills in food prep.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
