About the Role:

The Part-Time Line Cook at Lark's Kitchen at Ashland Springs Hotel located in downtown Ashland plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality dining experiences to our guests. This position involves preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards, ensuring that all food is presented beautifully and served at the right temperature. The Line Cook will collaborate closely with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and organized workspace, while also adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Additionally, this role requires the ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service times, contributing to a positive and productive kitchen environment. Ultimately, the Line Cook's efforts directly impact guest satisfaction and the overall reputation of our hotel's dining services.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Culinary degree or certification from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting.
  • Knowledge of various cuisines and cooking styles.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
