Job summary

ARDEN COURTS OF BINGHAM FARMS MI LLC seeks a Part-Time Lifestyle Assistant to organize and facilitate engaging activities for residents in an on-site setting in Bingham Farms, MI. You will support daily programs, coordinate spaces, and help residents participate in meaningful activities while maintaining safety and documenting participation.

Qualifications

• Organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple activities, maintain schedules, and complete basic documentation accurately.
• Capacity to work safely in a healthcare environment, including infection control and protecting resident privacy and dignity.
• Experience in senior care or healthcare support preferred; recreation, hospitality, or customer service is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in activities or recreation therapy is beneficial.
• Demonstrated reliability and flexibility with scheduling; ability to stand, walk, and assist with light tasks.

Role Description

The Part-Time Lifestyle Assistant will support residents with meaningful daily activities that promote engagement, comfort, and well-being in an on-site care setting located in Bingham Farms, MI. The Lifestyle Assistant will help with setting up activity spaces, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, and communicating observations about residents’ participation and needs to the care team. The position requires collaboration with nursing and support staff, respectful interaction with residents and families, and consistent documentation of activities and attendance. This is a full-time, on-site role, requiring reliability across scheduled shifts, including potential evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
