The Jewish Community Center of Dallas in Dallas, TX, is seeking a part-time lifeguard to provide coverage at the JCC pools according to American Red Cross standards. This nonexempt role offers up to 29 hours per week, with weekend hours required.

The Lifeguard will monitor pool areas, enforce rules, maintain logs, and deliver customer service in line with JCC policies. Certification in ARC Lifeguarding/CPR/First Aid/AED is required, with prior lifeguard experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ARC Lifeguarding/CPR/First Aid/AED certification required.
• Previous lifeguard experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Daily oversight of the pool area, following JCC policies and ARC standards.
• Demonstrate professional lifeguard conduct, enforce pool rules, and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain order in indoor/outdoor pool areas at all times.
• Keep chemical logs and report pool maintenance needs to Aquatics Director.
• Maintain pool area cleanliness and report issues promptly.
• Provide customer service per the JCC Customer Service Policy.
• Be identifiable as a JCC Lifeguard in uniform at workstation.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Aquatics Director.
