Job summary

The Harmonie Club in New York is seeking a part-time Lifeguard to oversee pool and waterpark safety and guest service. The role focuses on monitoring guest activity, maintaining water quality, and keeping facilities clean and safe.

Responsibilities include daily reporting, equipment upkeep, linen processing, and assisting with special projects as directed by management. Prior lifeguard certification with CPR/AED and First Aid is required, plus flexibility for long shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current Lifeguard Certification with CPR/AED and First Aid.
• Must meet state/local lifeguard requirements.
• Flexible hours and ability to stand for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool usage to ensure guest safety.
• Restrict pool access to registered guests.
• Maintain chemical and temperature levels per regulations.
• Check and maintain pool equipment and cleanliness.
• Keep restrooms and locker rooms clean and stocked.
• Maintain pool area upkeep and furniture.
• Process towels and linen as needed.
• Maintain spa/whirlpool operations if applicable.
• Complete daily reports and logs.
• Complete special projects as assigned by management.
