Job summary

The Hotel Hershey, a luxury resort, is seeking a lifeguard team member to ensure guest safety at the resort pool(s). This part-time role offers perks including free admission and parking to Hersheypark, plus dining and shopping discounts with Employee ID.

Responsibilities include enforcing rules, responding to emergencies, monitoring equipment, and maintaining the pool area. Ideal candidates are 16+, with lifeguard training and ability to work weekends during peak season.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Complete Ellis & Assoc. International Pool and Lifeguard Training Program (paid by Hershey properties).
• Pre-employment drug testing required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and enforce pool rules and safety regulations.
• Respond to aquatic emergencies quickly and effectively.
• Monitor pool equipment and supplies.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and surroundings.
• Lifeguards must stay test-ready for lifeguard and first aid skills; participate in weekly lifeguard in-service training.
