Job summary

The Hotel Hershey, a luxury resort, seeks a part-time lifeguard to ensure guest safety at its pool facilities. You will enforce rules, respond to emergencies, monitor gear, and keep the pool area clean while maintaining a professional image and positive guest interactions.

Requirements include being 16+, completing Ellis & Assoc. lifeguard training, passing pre-employment drug tests, and strong swimming/fitness abilities. Weekend shifts are required during peak season.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must complete pre-employment drug testing.
• Must complete Ellis & Assoc. International Pool and Lifeguard Training Program paid for by Hershey properties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and enforce swimming pool rules and safety regulations.
• Respond to aquatic emergencies promptly and effectively.
• Monitor equipment and supplies.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and surroundings.
• Lifeguards must keep skills at a test-ready level and participate in weekly in-service training.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
