Qualifications

• Ability to lift over 50 lbs; physically capable for lifeguard duties.
• Current Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR certification or pass prerequisite testing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee activities at the aquatic facility and ensure safety.
• Assist with swimming lessons as needed.
• Explain and enforce facility rules and policies.
• Maintain order in pool, locker rooms, and surrounding areas.
• Perform first aid and emergency response as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and records; monitor pool chemistry as applicable.
• Attend in-service trainings monthly.
• Work varied shifts including evenings and Saturdays.
• Other duties as assigned.

Part-Time Lifeguard
$16.75/hour

Description:

Provide a safe environment and enforce guidelines established by the facility for patron use and assigned activities. Maintain a high standard of customer service. Responsible for maintaining orderliness by inspecting swimming pool areas, locker rooms, classroom, and offices. Daily monitor and record information regarding pool chemistry.

Qualifications:
