Aptiv is seeking a Service Associate in Lancaster, WI to support individuals with disabilities across Day Services, Prevocational Services, Community Employment and Thrift Store operations. The role involves hands-on, person-centered support, helping participants develop life and workplace skills and connect with the community.

This part-time position offers $15.00 per hour with flexible hours up to 29 per week.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of issues affecting individuals with disabilities.
• Comfort with technology including Microsoft Office or similar software.
• Ability to work independently while adapting to participants and programs.
• Ability to obtain First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Deliver person-centered services by facilitating one-on-one and group activities that support participant goals.
• Help participants develop workplace skills such as teamwork, task completion, communication, and responsibility.
• Assist Day Services programming, supporting daily engagement and skill development.
• Provide support within Community Employment services, helping participants build job readiness skills.
• Assist with Aptiv Thrift Store operations and customer service.
• Promote community inclusion by helping participants build friendships and connect with resources.
• Follow participant development plans, safety protocols, and care guidelines.
• Provide assistance with personal care tasks when needed.
• Monitor and support participant health and safety, reporting concerns.
• Complete documentation including service notes, progress updates, and time tracking.
• Provide safe transportation for participants when necessary, including Aptiv vehicles.
• Maintain professionalism by attending meetings and required training and following policies.
