NWACC invites qualified applicants to establish a pool of part-time and/or substitute instructors to teach Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, Microbiology, Agricultural Sciences, or other life sciences. Part-time faculty may handle courses with lectures and labs, and must be available mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in a Biological Science or similar (by Dean approval)
• At least 18 graduate hours in the subject area to be taught

Responsabilités

• Prepare and deliver instruction to students.
• Foster student learning using a range of strategies.
• Stimulate class discussions and active learning.
• Maintain class-related records.
• Contact students outside class to relay information.
• Keep current knowledge in the field.
• Assess coursework and apprise students of progress.
• Use current technologies in classroom or online teaching.
• Support the academic area and College through other duties.
