Job summary

Artis Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant in Huntingdon, PA to engage residents with dementia through daily programs and entertainment. You will assist the Director in creating activities tailored to individual resident needs, with Alzheimer's/dementia familiarity preferred and a focus on elderly populations.

The role supports the community’s goals, promotes resident well-being, and includes a rotating weekend schedule with starting pay of $17 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must possess high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop activities for residents to meet individualized needs.
• Collaborate with Life Enrichment Assistants to develop a monthly activities calendar.
• Coordinate with outside agencies to enhance resident experience.
• Plan trips for residents that meet memory loss needs.
• Maintain communication with families regarding participation in programs.
