Role Overview: The Licensed Optician will provide legendary customer service, craft high-quality eyewear, and ensure customer satisfaction by delivering personalized solutions and expert advice.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses.
• Act as a leader in optical knowledge.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with attention to detail, and meet quality standards.
• Assist with complex products and prescriptions.
• Use technology accurately and efficiently under time constraints.
• Identify root causes of issues, think proactively, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and organize effectively.
• Achieve store KPIs and customer service goals.
• Maintain a clean, attractive, and organized store environment.
• Report safety concerns and follow safe work practices.
• Continuously learn and improve professional skills.
• Adhere to company policies regarding discounts, promotions, and inventory management.

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• State Licensure as an Optician.
• Experience in optical dispensing.
• Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of current merchandise and fashion trends.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems, tablets, and computers.
• Ability to embrace new technology and adapt to change.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous retail and customer service experience.
