Job summary

Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless is seeking a part-time Behavioral Health Clinician to provide therapy, crisis intervention, and assessments across the main clinic and outreach settings. The role includes intake evaluations and determining eligibility for CCSS and other behavioral health programs.

The position requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field and NM licensure (LCSW/LPCC/LMFT), with experience in homelessness and trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Family Therapy, or any comparable discipline.
• Independently Licensed in New Mexico with LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT
• Experience and knowledge of behavioral health, substance use, co-occurring disorders, and trauma.
• Valid NM Driver's License.
• Previous work with people experiencing homelessness or other underserved populations.
• Able to prioritize in a fluid environment.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and focus on details.
• Must be able to deal with chaotic and noisy environment

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or group therapy to appropriate level of behavioral health clients.
• Work collaboratively with other departments and serve as a BH resource to staff.
• Participate in development of dual/multiple diagnosis didactic groups.
• Attend meetings as required.
• Participate in BH peer review.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities within agency.
• Must meet organizational productivity expectations as defined by supervisor
• Must comply with all AHCH policies and procedures.
