Job summary

The Library Community Specialist I at Texas A&M University - Central Texas will support public services by assisting at the circulation desk, helping with library programs, and contributing to outreach efforts. You will work under supervision to learn more advanced tasks and ensure a positive library experience for patrons, including students and the community.

This on-campus role offers a part-time schedule with evenings, up to 20 hours weekly, at $16 per hour, with benefits in a campus

Qualifications

• Required High School graduation or equivalent.
• One year of related library or instruction experience.
• Basic keyboarding skills and familiarity with office software.

Responsibilities

• Provide general customer service during library events and at the circulation desk.
• Assist in organizing library programs and tutoring activities.
• Help design marketing materials for library outreach and update the library website pages.
