Job summary

Jefferson County Public Library is seeking organized, detail-oriented Part-time Pages to shelve materials and maintain welcoming spaces across multiple locations in Colorado. The role involves assisting patrons, creating displays, and supporting back-room operations while upholding privacy and ethics policies.

Pages work about 12 hours per week, with shifts varying by location; applicants must be at least 16 and able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally. This union position is AFSCME represented.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, or currently pursuing one.
• Must be at least 16 years of age as of the date of your application.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Shelve library materials accurately and assist with organizing materials.
• Provide exceptional customer service and greet patrons warmly.
• Create visually appealing displays of library materials.
• Assist patrons at self-check kiosk and locate materials.
• Assist with back-room functions and materials processing.
• Attend staff meetings and required trainings.
• Comply with privacy, ADA, and ethics policies.
