Job summary

The Provo City Library is seeking a part-time custodian to provide general labor and maintenance work to keep its facilities clean and well-maintained. The position offers approximately 20 hours of work per week, primarily in the early mornings.

This role includes various cleaning tasks such as mopping floors, washing windows, and maintaining restrooms. Ideal candidates should demonstrate an ability to perform the work and be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Any training or experience which would demonstrate an ability to perform the work.
• Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Previous custodial work is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the facility, building interior, and offices.
• Sweep, mop, and clean floors.
• Clean and wash glass, woodwork, and windows.
• Dust and clean furniture, maintenance equipment, shelves, and other furnishings.
• Change light bulbs.
• Responsible for daily cleaning of restrooms, event rooms, and other storage areas.
• May be required to perform other related work as required.
