Qualifications

• Two years working in a customer service or teaching position.
• Experience in a library, bookstore or educational institution preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with people of all backgrounds with excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, welcoming patron experiences in person or by phone, text, email, video or chat.
• Promote the library's resources, services and events.
• Handle circulation tasks and assist patrons with the online catalog and library systems.
• Assist with technology and equipment usage, including Office software and online resources.
• Participate in outreach and programming for all ages.
