Job summary

Central Park Elementary in Omaha, NE is seeking a part-time Paraprofessional, Library Aide to support the library media program from August through May when students are in session.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 48/72 credit hours or demonstrated proficiency to assist instruction.
• Previous experience in a public school or library setting preferred.
• Ability to assist in reading, writing, and mathematics instruction.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caring instructional climate and support library media staff.
• Check in/out materials, generate overdue notices, and manage circulation.
• Assist with inventory, shelving, and material organization with accuracy.
• Support learning activities and digital tools usage (Microsoft products).
• Help supervise students and create a welcoming library environment.
