About the Opportunity

This position offers part‑time teaching responsibilities within Northeastern University’s marine science curriculum. In addition to presenting course material in lecture, instructors are also required to present an immersive lab or field component.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in our marine science curriculum.
• Present an immersive lab or field component.
• Assist with lab/field activities as well as grading (with a teaching assistant), ensuring grades are submitted in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• PhD in Marine Science, Biology or an appropriate discipline.
• Prior teaching experience preferred.
• Active research program in the subject matter.
