Appointments are temporary and often made shortly before terms begin; candidates should be available on short notice. Fall contracts start mid-August and end late-December; Spring contracts start mid-January and end mid-May.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or closely related field.
• Prior university-level teaching experience preferred.
• Industry or experiential experience may be considered in lieu of an advanced degree.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in your area of expertise.
• Prepare and deliver lectures, assignments, and assessments.
• Hold office hours to support student learning and success.

• Computer Science

Appointments from the part-time pool are temporary and often madejust prior to the start of the academic term, so applicants must beavailable on short notice. Fall contracts begin in mid-August andend late-December; Spring contracts begin in mid-January and endmid-May. Opportunities for teaching during the Summer andInterterm Sessions may also be available.
