Responsibilities:

• Teach engineering technology and engineering plant operations courses.


• Demonstrate student‑centered learning and teaching; collaborate in multidisciplinary settings.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Marine Engineering Technology, Facilities Engineering Technology, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or related field.


• Effective communication skills; proficiency in written and oral English.


• USCG Second Assistant Engineer License or extensive experience in maritime or facilities engineering industries encouraged.


• Graduate degree in a related engineering discipline preferred.


• Teaching and/or industrial experience preferred; extensive industry experience with USCG licensures encouraged.


• Experience working with diverse populations and fostering an inclusive environment.

Special Conditions:
